EMS Strong - Always in Service

National Emergency Medical Services Week was established to honor those who provide day-to-day lifesaving services on the front line. It has been proven that access to quality emergency care dramatically improves the survival and recovery rate of those who experience sudden illness or injury. If you are involved in a car accident, house fire, or experience a medical emergency, you will likely find yourself being cared for by one of our medical responders. Just like our firefighters, here in Oconee County, our medical responders are all volunteer. It's not a job here, it's a calling. We cannot thank our everyday heroes enough and we ask that you join us in celebrating our EMS team this week. They've got your back.

Your donations will help support burn survivors recovery, medical facilities, and fire safety and prevention education. Check out the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation's website at www.gfbf.org to see all of the wonderful services they support. So, when you see our folks at Epps Bridge or Butler's Crossing holding out a boot, please be generous. ... See MoreSee Less
